AACTE conducted surveys in April 2020, October 2020, and September 2021, asking members about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their educator preparation programs. All three surveys were representative of AACTE’s membership. This report describes how conditions have changed since 2020, highlighting the lasting effects of the pandemic

Scripted story to help children understand the steps to problem solving. Includes problem scenario cards to help children practice finding a solution to common social problems.

Tucker the Turtle provides a scripted story to teach young children how to calm down when they have strong feelings by tucking into their shell and taking deep breaths. The story also includes visuals to help children learn how to use the strategy.

This resource includes instructions and tips for families on how to create a calm down area at home.

To support educators, as well as state and district leaders, in answering critical data questions, these centers shared how the four essential elements of data literacy can guide teams in using data, both virtually and in-person, to make accurate and feasible decisions in times of unknown. Additionally, SEAs were given tools to help support their LEAs to work together to meet student’s diverse needs during this webinar.

NCSI and invited experts shared information to help state leadership teams make informed decisions amid current circumstances, ensuring leaders are poised to continue high-quality educational programming for students and families.

This unit was created by Robert Stroud from Westerly Public Schools in Rhode Island to support making the connections between various polygons and their areas rather than just providing formulas to compute.

Open Educational Resources (OER) support flexible instructional opportunities through the use of materials that can be reused and remixed to meet the needs and preferences of a wide range of learners. In this webinar, educators who are new to OER will learn how to create accessible OER using Open Author and how to evaluate existing OER in a variety of formats for accessibility.

This resource focuses on tools for making math notation more accessible to learners through the use of text-to-speech, handwriting recognition and other supports that can be installed on the devices families have at home to support continuity of learning.
